Description
A beautiful sunset that looks like a lake reflecting the sky, in the sky.
Have you ever wondered why sunsets have that vibrant red coloring? The answer: light is refracted by particles in the atmosphere and the red end of the spectrum is what is visible.
In some cultures (like the Aztecs) that worshiped the sun it was believed that the sun was eaten by a god every night and recreated every morning. They would make a sacrifice to the God to please him/her so the sun would shine upon the Earth. The sunrise was seen as a new birth and a sunset as its death.
