Love it, the head almost looks like chrome. This is a fascinating pose of the wings too, they use their wings to either harness light towards or reflect away from their body. It's a way of moderating their core temp and it looks like you caught him right in the middle of doing it! I'm no expert, but it looks like he is using his wings to harness light energy like a radar dish. :)

About Christina Ochsner

Christina Ochsner

Christina Ochsner was born in Houston, TX where she studied photography at G.W. Carver high under Dave Renner. She worked on B&W photography, developed her own film and photos. Christina now lives in Sacramento, CA where she continues the art of photography. Now she does both color and B&W. As much as she misses the darkroom, she is learning the digital world of photography. She hopes to one day have a darkroom of her own where she can still enjoy the old with the new. Christina favors B&W photography but also loves colorful nature photography. She hopes to captivate her audience with the beauty of the world the way she sees it.
