USS Pampanito, a Balao-class submarine, was a United States Navy ship, the only one named for the pompano fish. She completed six war patrols from 1944 to 1945 and served as a Naval Reserve Training ship from 1960 to 1971

Christina Ochsner was born in Houston, TX where she studied photography at G.W. Carver high under Dave Renner. She worked on B&W photography, developed her own film and photos. Christina now lives in Sacramento, CA where she continues the art of photography. Now she does both color and B&W. As much as she misses the darkroom, she is learning the digital world of photography. She hopes to one day have a darkroom of her own where she can still enjoy the old with the new. Christina favors B&W photography but also loves colorful nature photography. She hopes to captivate her audience with the beauty of the world the way she sees it.
