Artist's Description

This is one of the many dead trees at Effie Yeaw Nature Center on the trails. I don't know if so many trees were dead and dying because of an infestation or just the extreme lack of water. It was a very peaceful and calming hike but so many dead trees, shrubs and plants.

About Christina Ochsner

Christina Ochsner

Christina Ochsner was born in Houston, TX where she studied photography at G.W. Carver high under Dave Renner. She worked on B&W photography, developed her own film and photos. Christina now lives in Sacramento, CA where she continues the art of photography. Now she does both color and B&W. As much as she misses the darkroom, she is learning the digital world of photography. She hopes to one day have a darkroom of her own where she can still enjoy the old with the new. Christina favors B&W photography but also loves colorful nature photography. She hopes to captivate her audience with the beauty of the world the way she sees it. The following website has some of her work offered on different items such as tablet cases, stickers,...
